Grossbuch — Privacy Policy

Effective date: [date]

Developer: [Name / IE registration], Tbilisi, Georgia

Contact: support@grossbuch.app

Grossbuch is a personal finance app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it is stored, and what leaves your device. The short version: your financial data stays on your phone. We do not have an account system, we do not run servers that receive your data, and we do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

1. Data you enter

Accounts, balances, transactions, transfers, exchange rates, categories and notes that you enter are stored only in the app's local database on your device. We cannot see, access or recover this data. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.

2. Data the app does not collect

Grossbuch does not collect or transmit any of the following: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage analytics or crash reports. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

3. Market exchange rates

To show a reference market rate when you have no exchange history of your own for a currency pair, the app downloads daily exchange rates from two public sources: the National Bank of Georgia (nbg.gov.ge) and the European Central Bank's reference rates via Frankfurter (api.frankfurter.dev). The request asks for that day's rate table and nothing else. It carries no data about you, your accounts or your transactions, and no identifier we create. It does carry the two things any internet request carries: your IP address, and a user-agent string naming the version of the Dart runtime the app was built with. The downloaded rates are cached on your device. You can use the app fully offline; in that case market rates are simply unavailable.

4. Children

Grossbuch is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect data from them. The app collects no personal data from anyone.

5. Your rights

Because all your data is on your device, you exercise your rights directly: view it in the app, or delete it by deleting the app. If you have questions, or believe we hold any data about you — we do not — contact support@grossbuch.app.

6. Changes

If a future version of the app changes what data is handled — for example, if we introduce optional sync between devices — we will update this policy and the effective date, and the app will ask for your consent before enabling any feature that sends data off your device.

7. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Georgia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
