What helps when reporting a problem
- The version and build number, from Menu → About.
- Your iOS version and iPhone model.
- What you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead.
Please do not send screenshots of amounts you would rather not share. Nothing is sent to us automatically — there is no crash reporting and no analytics in the app, so anything we learn about a bug is what you tell us.
Known limits
Things Grossbuch does not do, listed so you can find out here instead of after installing:
- No export of any kind, CSV included.
- No backup, no iCloud, no sync between devices. The ledger is a file on the phone it was entered on.
- No bank connections and no receipt scanning. Every entry is typed by you.
- No passcode or Face ID lock inside the app; it is protected by your device's own lock.
- No budgets and no recurring transactions.
- iPhone only — no iPad layout, no widgets.
- English only.
Exchange rates are the ones you enter yourself. A published daily rate is used only where you have no rate of your own, and the app marks the figure as an estimate when it does that.
Your data
There is no account to recover and no server holding a copy, so we cannot restore a ledger that was lost with a phone. What we handle, and what leaves your device, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
